

What to Expect
In nutritional therapy I gather information to include symptoms, food preferences, lifestyle, eating habits, medications, past medical history, etc. to evaluate what foods, eating habits and lifestyle habits are impeding a clients health goals. Once I see where an individual is struggling we collaborate to implement new foods or eating habits and/or supplement strategies to improve the function of these areas. Nutrition therapy is about educating individuals so they are equipped to make the right choices and know why it is best for their body.
1st
Free 15 minute Consultation
Prior to starting nutritional therapy we will have a free 15 minute call to make sure that we are a good fit for each other and that I feel I can help you reach your wellness goals.
2nd
Paperwork
Once we agree to work together I will email you forms to fill out through the NutriQ website. These forms will include your Initial Interview Questionnaire which has several questions about your history, current health status, and eating habits. There will also be a Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire with over 300 quick answer questions. You will also need to fill out a Food and Mood Journal for at least 3 days so that I can get a really good idea of what you're eating and when you are eating as well as any symptoms you may notice. This information gives me a very detailed look into your intake and health status.
3rd
Consultation
Once all your forms are returned to me I will look them over and then we will set up our first visit which is over Zoom preferably but can be over the phone. This meeting will last about 1.5 hours and will be in-depth.
4th
Recommendations
After our first meeting I will email you a recommendations form with the changes we decided on.
5th
Implement Change
You start making those discussed changes and set up another meeting for about
2-3 weeks later depending on how quickly you begin implementing the recommendations.
6th
Follow Up Call
Follow ups are via phone or zoom and last about 30 minutes. We will discuss how you felt making the changes and if there were any barriers to implementing them that we need to work through. Then we continue on to see how symptoms are and how we can continue moving you towards your health goals.
